Former Iron and Manchester City midfield ace Ian Bishop has his fingers crossed that hope overcomes expectation at the Etihad this evening .
Eighties Upton Park favourite Bishop has made his annual trans-Atlantic trek for the game and is hopeful the Irons cam complete a sensational early season treble.
Having watched the lunchtime match between Chelsea and Arsenal and declaring he wouldn’t have Diego Costa in his pub team Bish is hoping for better things from his two former teams tonight.
He told ClaretandHugh: “There’s always mixed emotions for me when the two teams meet – it’s a real big game for me.”
