West Ham United beat AK Alkmaar in the semi final first leg of the Europa Conference League

So guess who are the next two clubs up for the Irons in the Premier League. You’ve got it – Sheffield United and Newcastle.

And this afternoon the Blades were torn to pieces by the Toon to the tune of 0-8 at Bramall Lane without the Geordies taking their foot off the pedal.

On that basis we really faces the lows and highs of life over the next couple of weeks with United arriving at the London Stadium next weekend and Newcastle coming to the east end on the eighth of October.

Magnificent eight Newcastle

Magnificent eight Newcastle is scary in itself so we need to make sure we grab the three points available from our next home game against the bottom of table United!

Eight players shared the eight goals between them for Newcastle at Bramall Lane and they now sit  in eighth place before meeting Burnley next weekend and then to us the following weekend.
