West Ham fans leave the London Stadium early as West Ham were thrashed by Arsenal

The West Ham board was seriously unimpressed as thousands left the London Stadium as the Hammers collapsed against Arsenal.

Those who walked away were pictured on Sky Sports during the break although one has to ask how many were outside for refreshments, a beer and a cigarette.

Whatever the reasons it wasn’t a pretty sight and and as the picture below show there were indeed many empty seats after the half time break.

Look more closely at the one above and it appears the vast majority of fans are gathered around the food outlets.

However, it remains a fact that by the end of the game probably only between 25 per cent to 50 per cent had managed to see the game through to the end.

Regardless of that the desertion went down badly with the board where a source told Claret and Hugh: ”
