The Green Street site has become the ‘main focus’ of  the movie based on armed criminals holding 35,000 people hostage at a sporting venue for ransom.

Highland Film Group secured  the use of the stadium before it is handed over to property developers for demolition.

And Hammers co chairman David Sullivan is an executive produce and own 25 per cent of the company that’s put it all together.

filmset3The group’s partners Arianne Frasier and Delphine Perrier said: “We were drawn in by the script immediately as well as the size and scope of the production which is set in one of the world’s most renowned venues. We’ve been successful in the action genre and have no doubt Final Score will resonate worldwide.”

Producer Marc Goldberg previously said: “We have a stellar team looking to deliver a $20million non-stop action, world class film with a one off unique opportunity to utilize an iconic stadium before it’s demolished. Imagine Die Hard in a Soccer Stadium.”

Pierce Brosnan is the star Scott Mann’s soccer thriller  playing opposite  Dave Bautista, Alexandra Dinu and Julian Cheung. Shooting of the film will begin next Monday on August. 8.

  1. How do you get to be an extra, I’d love to be part of it.

  2. I see the over typing goes into Sullivan’s film interests too. World class film, World Renowned venue. Wow ‘World renowned’, we should be all over that as the phrase so often goes.

  3. Or even ‘Hyping’ if that is what your grumpiness was trying to highlight.
