Boleyn Insider predicting striker hunt is nearly over

|

boleyninsiderWest Ham’s ITK Boleyn Insider has confirmed that he reckons “one way or another” the club will sign another striker within the next few days.

In his latest column at www.whufc.com, the Insider says: “My sources have told me that meetings are taking place all the time with agents of several forwards, and that a deal should be finalised in the near future.

“The Club are keeping all their options open and I believe they will continue to assess the overseas market as well as players already performing in the Premier League.

“In addition to signing another forward, I have been told that the Club also hope to sign a midfielder before the window closes next week.”

Current favourite according to ClaretandHugh sources to fill the midfield berth is Joey Barton whilst – as reported – while Emmanuel Adebayor and  Juventus striker, Simone Zaza, are being heavily touted for the striker’s role.

I thought the spuds won’t deal with us?I am not convinced Adebayor is our striker answer.Zara sound’s promising and is the right age.Someone suggested a striker from the championship? That makes financial sense also.Anyway another day another striker coming.
