Boleyn Pub launched at the OS

West Ham have this afternoon launched a dedicated bar in the Olympic Stadium called the Boleyn.

The bar pictured below will be located in the West Stand of the Stadium,  They hope to create the atmosphere of your a pre-match pub with the convenience of very close to the halfway line seats on either side of the players’ tunnel which is where the seats will be based.

The bar will be themed in claret and blue colours and the new West Ham crest, with pictures of the greatest legends and moments in Hammers history.

Members of The Boleyn package will enjoy free drinks at half-time and can purchase traditional East End food from Café Cassettari, named after the venue where graduates of the West Ham Academy famously used to meet and talk tactics.

Membership of The Boleyn will be strictly limited to 1,000 places, and is being made available today to all Season Ticket Holders on a first come, first served basis. From Monday morning, each Season Ticket Holder’s household will receive a unique Boleyn brochure on their door mat.

In addition to exclusive use of the bar and café, free half-time drinks and halfway line seats, members will enjoy access to every West Ham Premier League home fixture plus the first three cup games, priority for cup semi-finals and finals, a dedicated VIP entrance to the Stadium, and a complimentary matchday programme.

Fans wanting to buy one of the one thousand places be required to pay a joining fee of £600 with monthly direct debits of £168 beginning from June 2016. This price will remain fixed for the length of your membership making the cost £2,616 in the first season and £2016 per season after that.

  1. Looks so clinical and soul-less. $2 grand a year to sit in a hard chair in what looks like a Hammerized version of an Ikea cafe.

No thanks, would rather stand with the ‘riff-raff’ for free.

  2. This doesn’t sound much of a deal does it – I hope there’s a bigger bar than is shown in the picture otherwise it’ll be a right old scrum and can you imagine what it’ll be like at half-time!!

The problem I have is that I have no knowledge of what else is available around there – is there pubs, bars etc – I’ve been told that visiting Westfield is a bit of a culture shock and been put off it – what do you reckon?
