Bonus time for Fabianski and Antonio

|

International breaks – of which a fair bit has been written on here – are a pain but at least on this occasion there’s a bonusĀ  for Hammers fans.

After the England defeat, last night heads probably went further down particularly as 17 fans were arrested before the game amid pretty disgraceful scenes.

But most of our minds are on the Hammers anyway and bouncing back from the Palace disappointment when we finally get to travel to Everton.

It will be without Lukasz Fabianski and Michail Antonio of course but therein lays the aforementioned bonus as we wait on their recoveries.

The current fortnight we are now having to endure, along with another next month, is as bad as it gets, but for those two it represents a chance to miss fewer games.

And it means in explicit terms that a month will have been knocked off the expected three month or less returns.

It may not seem much of a silver lining but when you’e in the middle of an horrendous round of international football it helps …JUST!
