Bookies price up Irons striker targets

BalotelliSky Bet have made Fabio Borini a 4/5 favourite to join the Hammers this summer with Javier Hernandez priced at 6/4 and Kevin Miralles 7/4.

Hernandez is still at the head of the Hammers preferences and  Sky Bet are seemingly unimpressed by his reported Old Trafford chances pushing him out only very slightly in the betting behind Borini and just in front of Kevin Miralles at 7/4.

Mario Balotelli is still in the running with the bookies to complete a move to Upton Park being priced up at 4/1 although Palace are odds-on favourites to land the controversial character at 5/6.

  1. For the love of god, please don’t let us sign Borini, if we do then I will have lost all optimism id gained since the end of last season. Sign javier and kev, but please please please dont go anywhere near borini

  2. Borini and Balotelli are not top strikers: the second one is the most overrated player in the world. His agent, Raiola, is trying to offer this idiot to anybody… I wouldn’t spend a cent to buy him… Balotelli made money doing nothing … 😉

  3. Let’s hope they haven’t taken their eye off the ball on a striker as this and who we get will most like decide our season, that’s how important it is.

  4. Very important,we need a top quality striker. No freebie panic buy at the end of the window. We are so light when it comes to strikers of Premiership standard. If we have a repeat of the last two years when we had no forwards i will be gutted.Sure they will sort one out though.Just not Borini or Balotelli, pls god no 😉

  5. No we are fine, apparently a source from here says we have signed Marco Boogers. This is according to wetpants roving reporter TubbyLard 😀

  6. Jarvis and Nolan for Austin plus cash,
Reid for Hernandez and buy another CH
Mirallles or another winger a must Alfitano good enough for the bench
Jarvis good enough for the championship with Nolan,Magia and JOB
We need a top striker full stop

  7. There’s some way over the top reaction on here about how we are, seemingly, destitute in the field of strikers.
Everybody has apparently already forgotten the guy, who was scoring at will in our very successful first half and being hailed by one and all as our new super striker.
The problem we do have is most of our strikers are not available at the moment but if we have them all available we are nowhere near as in the dire straights that is being tossed around.
It also seems, Bilic is well aware of the difficulty of getting a good striker and has gone after attacking midfielders. He stated in an interview recently that he expects a considerable contribution of goals from his midfield.
Yes, it’s true another real goalscorer would make us stronger but it is not a panic situation by Any means

  8. BS,we need one big time.Have you forgotten already last season when we had no Carroll,No Sakho. How the bloody hell can you say we are alright in that dept.who have we got that can contribute Prem goals on even a semi-regular basis without these two.Valencia?Maiga?Lee?,dont make me laugh.
