Betting has been suspended on Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore joining West Ham in the summer.
The former Barcelona player who has been linked to the Hammers in recent days is looking for an exit from relegated Boro.
West Ham supporter Jamie Norwood tweeted bookmakers BetVictor asking for a price for Adama Traore joining the Hammers.
Bet Victor replied saying “Hi Jamie. Looks like he’s on his way to WHU so we won’t be offering, thanks.”
Sky Bet gave the fan a similar reply saying “Hi Jamie, apologies for the delay. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer this market. Thanks for getting in touch.”
Traore has yet to score a goal in the Premier League for either Aston Villa and Middlesbrough
and has often received criticism for not being able to step up to the next level.
So is it a done deal then . It’s early days in the window and the recruitment team are undoubtedly working hard at finding the right players . Having said that it is becoming frustrating ; personally I blame the media and agents for too much speculation . I notice that the West Ham board have taken heed to fans comments that they talk too much .
It’s about time too .
Another Antonio? More likely just another Enner Valencia.
👍🏻
He will be a decent addition to the squad imo.Like Royston says he will either be another Antonio success or a total pile of shyte signing. How about we do something unusual & actually give him a chance in our shirt first before decieding he is a Minger 😂😂
If he signs of course.
He is an exciting player young traore. As has been pointed out his end product could do with improving but that is something that will happen with experience im sure.
This one seems to have flown under the radar which is what some fans wanted is it not lol
Unbelievably fast over the first five – would leave Bellerin and Damm wading in treacle.
Has yet to show that he can do anything other than match Bolt, though.
IF Bilic could get an end product out of him it would be one of the best transfers for any club this window.
If not, it would be money down the drain.
He is a real gamble, but there is a reason Barca let him go.
I think he is fast over more than the first 5 yards.
Agree that the end product is missing although I don’t think Middlebrough were a good match for him when you consider the tedious football they played.
If this transfer happens I think it will either be a complete disaster or a huge success – nothing in-between.
