Boss claims “we’re all together” at the stadium now

Manuel Pellegrini reckons that the fans are making a huge difference to the atmosphere inside the London Stadium and that the “we all together.”

At the start of the season the atmosphere was notably muted on the back of that terrible 0-5 to Citeh but since then the results have lifted big time.

And we are now probably enjoying the best experience at stadium since we moved in and the manager said: “For me, there are a lot of different things from this season compared to last season.

Pellegrini is not a man to play to the fans audience and if he is talking like this then he genuinely feels it. Certainly those of us who are inside the place from week to week will have notice the difference.

And for the performance against Norwich the place was rocking, demonstrating again that if the players are on the case then the fans can respond in kind, that’s the way it should work.

That’s the right way round!

The manager said at his pre-match presser: “The atmosphere of London Stadium feels absolutely different. You feel, when you go in, that we are all together.

When I say that, I mean the fans, the squad, the technical staff; everyone has the same mentality and the same desire to demonstrate that we can be a big team also. We needed to continue improving and the only way to do that is with everyone together, trying to win games.

I think last season, at the beginning of the season, was not a good atmosphere. At the end it was very good. We played good games against big teams; against Chelsea, against Arsenal, against Manchester United.

I think the atmosphere of London Stadium changed in the same way the results changed, in the way that the style of football we are playing is giving fans enjoyment. One of the reasons we are winning is because the players are feeling that support. “
