Areola:6 Indecision didn’t cost him when Zouma made a good recovery tackle. Produced a decent save from Brooks just before half time. Made an even better save from Brooks early in the second half.
Coufal:6 A standard, solid performance from Coufal who contained his opposite number well.
Zouma:6 Moyes pick as captain following Declan Rice’s departure. Such a good defender, little surprise that Solanke targeted Aguerd rather than Zouma. Lost Solanke following a deflected shot which cost West Ham the goal. Would have a higher rating had he not gone to sleep for Bournemouth’s equaliser.
Aguerd:6 Early error yielded a scoring chance for Bournemouth. Had a tough battle against Solanke. Produced an excellent piece of defending late in the first half as the Cherries piled on the pressure. A nervous performance but just about finished on top.
Emerson:6 Given a decent test by Brooks. Partnership with Benrahma needs work. Made a good professional foul to thwart a late attack.
Soucek:8 Given some license to attack, hit the bar on 15 mins. Effective in both boxes. His heat-map for this game will make impressive reading.
Paqueta:7 No question about Paqueta’s commitment following interest from Manchester City. Some nice touches and passes. Played deeper with Fornals allowed more licence to roam. Had a header cleared off the line.
Bournemouth 1-1 West Ham: Antonio battled well
Fornals:7 Energetic performance from Fornals, who gave everything to the cause. His tackle created the chance for Bowen’s goal. Great to see him play in a central position.
Bowen:8 Happy to drift inside and find space. Kept honest by Milos Kerkez. Should have done better following Antonio’s quick freekick. Scored a sumptuous curling goal with his left foot.
Benrahma:5 Looked lively and set up Soucek well. Grew into the game then faded. Produced some sloppy deliveries.
Antonio:6 The usual Antonio battling performance. Looked unfit from early in the game. Played the outstanding pass of the game. Miskicked from 2 yards. Quick thinking to take a freekick quickly.
