Nuno kept his cards close to his chest at the pre-Bournemouth press conference and did not disclose the fitness challenges his squad was facing: Now that the starting eleven has been revealed there’s some pretty big news which will take West Ham fans – along with the opposition – by surprise.
The team news is out and there’s a big ‘miss’ for West Ham this week : Crysencio Summerville misses the games we hear he has a knock and is not risked. Hopefully it is not a recurrence of his long-standing hamstring injury which kept him out for half of last season.
In addition, West Ham appear to be changing shape and starting with three at the back – which means a full debut for loanee Igor Julio alongside Jean Clair Todibo and Max Kilman.
Freddie Potts is fit and starts alongside Mateus Fernandes in a new – look midfield whilst Brazilian teen Luis Guilherme finally gets a start under Nuno in place of Summerville. Of course, Lucas Paquetá sits this one out after picking up a fifth yellow card against Burnley.

Definitely not sure about the substitutions what does Magassa need to do to get in, they were battering us we had a 2-0 lead and he takes away the goal threat, Fullkrug has to go, he is useless and leggy.
I still think it’s a good point against a superior side but in the end it’s 2 points we could maybe have nicked against the grain.
Let’s hope Nuno can do a Dyche against the Scousers !!!
I don’t have too many gripes with that even though I would have just gone with Magassa and pushed Fernandes into Paquetas position. Minutes for George Earthy please…
