West Ham have decided to hold new talks with Jarrod Bowen’s representatives over a new deal in September.

There have been rumours that a new deal is on the table but the board have urgent priorities ahead of that – like signing new players.

However, it could be a be a big big summer for the 18 goal Hammers hero who is reported to be planning marriage to his girlfriend Dani Dyer whilst being offered a mega new contract at the London Stadium.

The player still has three years left on his current deal after joining from Hull for around £23 million. Since then he has become the highest Hammers goal scorer in a single season since Paolo Di Canio in 2006.

Commenting on the rumours of a new deal a key ClaretandHugh source explained: “He’s got three  years to go. In September, once this window is over, discussions will start with his agent for a new deal. Our priority is that all the short term energy goes into signing new players
