Bowen injury update

By Hughie Southon

Jarrod Bowen looks to be ok following a heavy knock towards the end of the game against Spurs at the weekend.

The No 20 was involved in a collision game and was seen hobbling off with fears that he could be struggling for the game against Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium.

With Kurt Zouma holding just an outside chance of returning and Gianluca Scamacca still looking for match fitness, a blow to Bowen would have been another shocking blow.

But thankfully the player has not needed a scan and it seems that he will be ready for action in a truly critical game.

Thankfully Claret and Hugh was told this morning by a key source at the London Stadium: “It was a heavy knock and given our position right now quite worrying but thankfully all looks ok and we expect Jarrod to make the match which is obviously a crucial game for us.”
