Bowen/Liverpool link emerges again

|

Jarrod Bowen is once again catching Liverpool’s eye where the recruitment team apparently have him on their radar.

This is Anfield reports the time is coming when the club will be planning for life without Mo Salah as this summer and various clubs as being interested has shown.

The Athletic have looked into the viability of a number of the reported options and listed Bowen as a real possibility

Liverpool are said to “admire” the 26-year-old and although he wouldn’t represent a like-for-like replacement he could become an affordable option.

This is Anfield claims that with Bowen’s contract ending in 2025, the manager could look to add the Englishman to the attacking options as one of the home grown options.

That may or may not appeal to Bowen whom it doesn’t sound would be the sort of regular choice he is at the London Stadium. Meanwhile the Hammers are continuing to negotiate a new deal with Bowen’s agents.
