Bowen talks on the way

Bowen talks on the way

Jarrod Bowen is understood to be ready to talk a new contract with West Ham United and is keen to stay.

There is currently no option on the flying winger’s deal but the club are moving fast to get him tied down to the club into the foreseeable future.

Nothing of course can ever be taken for granted in football but the player has recently spoken of his love for the club and desire to continue playing for us.

His quote following the European Conference victory when he said  “The fans love me and I love them,” has been repeated by Ex on his West Ham Way podcast.

And the player added: ”I love this club. I just want to keep playing for this club.”

Now we understand that the former Hull City star with eight goals to his name this season and 18 last term is in discussion with the club.

The 26 year old’s current contract runs out in June 2025 and there has been interest from several premier League clubs with Liverpool leading the way.

But the Hammers are determined to offer him a deal which reflects his value to them and that could well see him become  the club’s top earner along with Lucas Paqueta.

  1. Jarrod is very much appreciated by us Hammers fans and I’m sure we are all very delighted to hear that he is happy and keen to stay with the club. I guess he is part of an East End family now. At least we have one hero who is committed to playing on with the Hammers. Good on you, Jarrod!
