Bowen to double his wages?

West Ham are ready to double Jarrod Bowen’s wages as they prepare to open talks with the Hammers hero.

Negotiations  have been on the cards for this summer with Bowen coming out of contract in 2025 and the Hammers ready to up his wages from 60,000 to £120,000 a week.

The Hammers are clearly hopeful that Europa League football – where he of course scored the winner in the Conference Final against Fiorentina – plus a number of high profile new arrivals, will help him to decide on another three year deal,

It’s a hugely important moment for the Hammers as with Declan Rice leaving the club this summer, the club needs to signal that it can hold on to its better players following his departure.

Bowen agreed his current deal with the Hammers late on deadline day back in 2020 and has attracted interest from across the Premier League with Liverpool in particular allegedly interested.

But the 26 year old has spoken of loving this club and seems keen to stay with doubled personal terms on the agenda.

Sounds like a great deal for Jarod. He needs to get back into the form that got him his England call-ups. I don’t see him as a journeyman. He’ll be key to WH achieving top 7 place.
