Karren Brady has confirmed there will be up to five new faces at the Boleyn next season as the club gears up to deepen the existing squad.
The vice-chairman has repeated what ClaretandHugh reported from its own sources several weeks ago when we revealed that two of them would be global names.
At that time one was believed to be Alex Song but there are now some doubts over the midfielder’s form and consistency.
However, David Sullivan and David Gold are ready to push out the boat again as they prepare for a last season at the Boleyn, the possibility of European football and life at the Olympic Stadium.
Brady, 46, said in her Sun column: “With at least four or five new players this summer, I can see us being even more of a force.”
hopefully one of those faces will be a new manager with four new players 😀
So we replace Nolan,O,Brien,Demel,Jarvis and Cole and the manager ?
What will properly happen is BFS will stay plus the above except Jarvis and Cole,
And we will proberly sell Valencia, Cresswell and Sakho to pay for the 5 new ones,
Let’s hope not and we bring in Jenkinson and 4 more major signings.

Good, new blood is badly needed preferably young, athletic players with ambition.
As far as Song is concerned – he’s tailed off badly and will be expensive. Obviously he’s got class but now we know why he’s been moved on by Arsenal and Barca – a risk!
Lastly, I expect Adebayor will be one of the five – another huge risk!
