West Ham’s highest paid director – with Karren Brady, although unnamed but believed to be that person – receives a mind boggling £1.136 million a year from the club putting her among the very top earners in the game.
She also received additional bonuses for overseeing the stadium move and is of course involved in other projects including her controversial column in the Sun newspaper.
It’s an extraordinary figure in any terms and appears more than extravagant when compared to figures published in the Guardian in May of last year which shows the earnings of those in a similar position. At the time she was reported to be on £836k a year.
It puts her way ahead of many in the same position including highly successful Leicester City Chief Executive Officer Susan Whelan who – at the time of publication – was on £308,000.

Among other top PL club earners were Chelsea – £244,000, Everton £927,000, Newcastle 300,000, Southampton, 636.000, Spurs £3 million paid to Daniel Levy, Watford £631,000.

One small but important correction needed Hugh – the salary figure quoted should read 1 point 136 million pounds – as it’s currently shown, KB is earning over a billion pounds per annum !!

Also isn’t this figure as quoted in the last set of accounts, so 2018-19?
If so it’d be interesting to see her salary in NEXT years accounts.
If it’s above a tenner the club have been mugged off.
Can anyone explain what she is supposed to to be doing to earn that money & then compare it with what she has actually achieved, I cannot see how she spends much time on her role with West Ham when she writes for the sun & is running around with Alan sugar on the Apprentice in between claiming expenses when she pops into the House of Lords, if Sullivan’s wants to cut costs she should be a prime contender for the sack.

Ok,So forgive me for being unknowledgeable to what Brady actually does for West Ham. So could someone please explain wtf She actually does for the club,If what She does is actually needed and finally , if She got sacked would it benefit us .That is a **** load of money that is being filtered out of our club.Surely,someone could do the same job at a fraction of her salary ?????

I’ll bet a pound to a penny that every west ham player that played man for man against Brighton’s players earned at least 10 grand more than any of there players? If they carry on like Saturday they will go down and then earn 10 grand less than any Brighton player?? I’m still seething over that capitulation 🤨🤨🤨
