Brady re-lives her terror via AC incident

|

The Conservative Party Annual ConferenceAndy Carroll’s ordeal at the hands of alleged gunman has reminded Karren Brady of a smiliar incident she suffered when at Birmingham City.

She said in her Sun column: “The incident brought back to me my terror when two men jumped my car at traffic lights in Birmingham.

“One of them stood by my door while the other one grabbed my handbag from the nearside. I then drove on, shaking, to an appointment — and guess who with? Neighbourhood Watch.”

West Ham’s number nine returned to training on Thursday despite the incident, with the matter now in the hands of the police who are trying to track down the motorcyclists.

Carroll is currently sidelined with a knee injury after picking up a problem back in August and has failed to make a subsequent first team appearance.
