Brazil expert Tim Vickery insists that Felipe Anderson will be in contention for the Selecao squad if he continues his current performances.
Anderson has been in excellent form for the Irons since joining the club in the summer, and has been ever-present in the Premier League.
He was, however, left out of the Brazil squad for games against Saudi Arabia and Argentina, with the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Richarlison, Lucas Moura, Neymar and Malcom included ahead of him.
But BBC expert Tim Vickery believes that there is still a route into the senior squad for the 25-year-old.
“(Anderson) failed at Under-20 level,” Vickery wrote on Twitter.
“(He) has been inconsistent and there’s lots of competition.
“But keep it up and he’s in the mix.”
Anderson has won one cap for Brazil, playing seven minutes in a 2-0 win over Mexico in 2015.
