West Ham United have taken a bold step towards bolstering our defensive line by placing a formal bid for Manchester United’s right-back, Aaron Wan-Bissaka. West Ham currently has just one primary option for the right-back position, Vladimir Coufal, especially following Ben Johnson’s recent switch to Ipswich Town.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka who previously represented Crystal Palace, made a significant £50M move to Old Trafford four years ago. With his contract winding down, he’s now potentially available for a much more favourable fee, making him an attractive prospect for the Hammers limited transfer budget.

Whilst the legitimacy of these reports from the Manchester media can’t be verified at this time, West Ham’s interest in Wan-Bissaka has been a consistent thread throughout the transfer window discussions. Should this transfer materialise, it would likely cool off any lingering interest in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, focusing our resources and strategic planning on integrating Wan-Bissaka into our squad.

The prospect of bringing Wan-Bissaka to London Stadium is an exciting one for West Ham fans. His defensive prowess probably outweighs his attacking ability but he would be a decent signing as we look to push higher in the Premier League standings next season.

His wages are too high, ExWHUemployee says tgey are above £90,000 per week. Walker Peters would be half that. I know where Sullivan will be looking

What on earth has happened to this once great and informative website? It’s sad to see how much it’s deteriorated over the last few months.
