Niclas Füllkrug has passed a late fitness test and will travel with the rest of the West Ham squad to the King Power Stadium for tomorrow night’s Premier League fixture.
The £27m German striker spent the afternoon at West Ham’s Rush Green training ground, where a source revealed to Claret & Hugh that Füllkrug had passed the test and been declared fit to play.
Earlier today, Hammers head coach Julen Lopetegui stated that the former Dortmund striker was close to fitness, but Monday night’s game against Wolves was believed to be the more likely return date.
However, our source has revealed that Füllkrug will travel with the rest of his West Ham teammates, meaning he is likely to start the game from the bench in the Leicester City vs West Ham EPL fixture. Under-fire gaffer Lopetegui could look to make changes to the starting XI that lost 5-2 to Arsenal at the weekend, but Füllkrug is not expected to be among them.
It really doesn’t matter which eleven he picks to play, the only prediction I can make is that we will show no urgency passion or desire as usual, and we will play on the back foot with no system and start like we’re in a snail race, let’s be honest that sums up our season so far, i love paqueta as a player when his playing well and with confidence but unfortunately he has become a liability and i dont think that’s down to thebetting issue hanging over his head, his been awful ever since city wanted to sign him and his heart hasn’t been with West ham at all ever since, he, was to blame for 3 of the goals we conceded against arsenal, that said he was definitely fouled for their 1st goal which should have been chalked off. Those players that want out will not play for the badge. And now it looks like alvarez and kudus are following the same path in my opinion. If you can’t handle the truth don’t read this.!
Good news but not yet the answer to all of our prayers. Niclas will still need time for others to play to his strengths. Hope it does not take too long. In the mean time – C’mon Antonio.

Hooray , so now the final piece of the LOSEpetegui puzzle is in place . What chance Fulkrug comes on for 10 minutes and breaks again giving SH1Tpetegui another excuse for his tactical incompetence . My guess under SH1Tpetegui , Westham gain 5 points or less in the next 5 games and still Sullivan won’t sack him through personal pride .
