The latest Premier League casualty has succumbed to poor results and a notable loss of player discipline that has seen two on field bust-ups in succession. Not even Christmas yet, and several managers have fallen by the wayside. Less than a week after ‘El Sackio 2′, Wolves’ loss against West Ham has proved fatal for the losing coach.

Gary O’Neil was on thin ice after the Wolves result against West Ham along with the much publicised judo match between Jarrod Bowen and Wolves’ Skipper Mario Lemina. Yesterday Wolves failed miserably, falling to a home defeat against lowly Ipswich Town: The resulting player scuffles had former Hammer Craig Dawson literally carrying one of his own team-mates away from confrontation and made pretty poor viewing: It left Wolves 19th in the table.

This morning O’Neil was sacked by Wolves having taken just nine points from 16 matches, and sitting 4 points away from safety.

The danger is obvious for West Ham’s dithering chairman and board: The best candidates to replace Julen Lopetegui may well now be attracted to the vacancy at Molineux. And if anyone mentions Gary O’Neil as a replacement for Lopetegui at London Stadium, go and suggest they take a very long walk off a very short pier.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.

Liven up Sullivan they’ve stolen a march on us.

I would not be surprised if potter went to wolves as Sullivan is so slow and predictable with managers he should resign from the board. Potter will only wait so long and I would not blame him, Sullivan is a mouse a dithering old man lol

Fans always say sack the board or the chairman should resign. Do you think they would kindly leave their money behind them? You need a guaranteed buyer for the club before you could even suggest such a thing

Good I hope he does 1 less for them to choose from and maybe Brady will go with him she seems to be the only 1 on the board that wants him

So many managers have been sacked soon after losing to West Ham. What does that say about us are we almost the final straw 😂😂
