West Ham have reached an agreement to sign Celtic wonderkid Daniel Cummings, according to the latest update from ExWHUEmployee.

Ex has reported that the 18-year-old Hoops striker, who has been averaging a goal per game at youth level, is scheduled for a medical in London tomorrow.

Claret & Hugh spoke to a top source at the London Stadium within the past five minutes, who confirmed that Cummings has signed a pre-contract. We first revealed on 7th February that Mark Noble had been given the authority to finalise the transfer of the young forward, who will join West Ham in the summer.

West Ham will pay a small compensation fee believed to be around £250k, after failing with a £500k offer to sign the striker in January.

When asked if the youngster could arrive before the summer, our London Stadium source said: “We can’t take him until the summer, but we can sign him on a pre-contract now. Mark Noble has been in charge of this transfer.”

What this means for next season remains uncertain, but it is known that Cummings grew frustrated with his lack of game time under Brendan Rodgers, so it is presumed he has been offered a pathway into West Ham’s first-team squad
