Just breaking now is the news that West Ham United have reached an agreement for the transfer of Noussair Mazraoui with Bayern Munich.
The transfer fee has been agreed at 15.5 million euros plus 4 million of add-ons. Importantly there is also a deal in principle between West Ham and the player.
Mazraoui does also play at left back for his national side as PSG’s Achraf Hakimi is the first choice at right back.
The 26 year old Moroccan has been the subject of intense interest and from West Ham’s perspective was seen as an option to supersede the long drawn out saga regarding trying to negotiate a purchase of either Southampton’s Kyle Walker Peters and Manchester United’s own Aaron Wan Bissaka.
This news came direct from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg on his X account @Plettigoal. It has subsequently been confirmed and relayed by Sky Sports News in their own X/twitter account.
Importantly the caveat still exists : ‘But it’s not a done deal as yet as important financial details about the deal have to be clarified. All parties involved now working on it. Manchester United still there but West Ham leading the race now.’
Seems like every player of interest has a injury history.
At least he has thability to play both right and left back.
Solving problem of not signing new left back to cover Emerson (injury or suspension).
There’s always Cresswell but not for 90 minutes.
Seems to play about 20 games a year.
Btw, why do I have to add my email address to comment? I assume it’s then being sold off to spammers?
Until Wan-Bissaka goes to Inter Milan and Man Utd buy him as they’re in Europe.
Won’t believe anything until he has had medical and we see him in a claret & blue shirt!
Don’t like his injury record to be honest especially with our history
Unlucky mancs he’s chosen the bigger club!
Expect ManU to react then.
They need to sell AWB first
I was hoping they would be selling him to us! 😉
He turned us down for Inter Milan
Can’t say I blame him
Who are you
