West Ham United players are reportedly enjoying a positive start to life under new manager Julen Lopetegui.

According to insider reports, the squad is responding well to the Spaniard’s coaching methods and are excited about the prospect of playing under a manager who emphasises possession-based football.

This can be witnessed by the number of players queuing up to give positive feedback on the Hammers head coach during recent interviews.

Prior to the summer I was hoping for a shift in how our Hammers approach things, particularly in our style of football, and felt it had become at times too defensive minded in recent seasons under The Moyesiah.

Lopetegui’s arrival has injected a fresh energy into the club, with both established players and academy prospects relishing the opportunity to work with the experienced coach.

As the Hammers squad continue their pre-season preparations in Florida, the positive atmosphere within the camp is seen as a crucial factor in the club’s hopes for the upcoming season. Talk of team bonding, less time on devices during coach journeys and communal travel to home fixtures all go to demonstrate the club is looking for more togetherness.

This is all great news for the club and the fans!

Perhaps they are just happy to be near someone who knows the meaning of football ?

Hope the board don’t lose the manager with there dithering over transfers, how many more players are we to be linked with, I’m sick of hearing we are closing in on this deal etc, next thing some other club has walked & signed them with the deal tied up within 24 hours. I thought the board said transfers didn’t happen due to Moyes dithering. Nothing has changed & we all know the truth why that is. We need a quality striker & to get one you have to pay the price, like it or lump it that includes the agents bung, that’s how the football business is these days.
