Bright news on Jenks for Sunderland

jenkinson1West Ham are likely to have Carl Jenkinson available for the trip to Sunderland this weekend.

The medics have not made a final diagnosis but are hopeful the player is suffering from “fatige” rather than a e hamstring injury which plagued him earlier in the season.

The on-loan defender hobbled off in the second half of the game against Swansea at the weekend but ClaretandHugh learned this morning that he could make the trip to the Stadium of Light.

We were told:”We think/hope Jenkinson was fatigue NOT a hamstring. We’ll know more as the week progresses.

nOBESBoth he and Mark Noble could be available for the weekend with our source adding: “Noble is fit. He  was on the  bench Saturday, but was only just fit and didn’t need to be risked unless there was a real need.

  1. With are squard we can afford to rest both of them before Chelsea ,Demel could do with a run out and like last weekend we have plenty of cover in midfield, other teams have proved rotation is important for long term success and another thing for Sam to learn as he has never had the squard in the past .

  2. Does anyone on here think a Jenks/Reid swap would be good business?

  3. Who, apart from papers, often misinformed, says Arsenal want him?
