Burke up for big award!

|

Reece Burke has been nominated for monthly Sky Bet League 1 awards following a successful October for the club.

We reported earlier this morning the Hammers were delighted with the player’s progress at City and could recall him from loan in January.

Burke has been short listed with Coventry City striker Adam Armstrong, Millwall attacker Aiden O’Brien and Peterborough United’s Jon Taylor.
The club’s website says: “With Burke continuing to look wise beyond his years at the back alongside Rory McArdle, the loanee West Ham defender helped City to two clean sheets during October.
In total City conceded conceding three goals in their five league matches during the month.
The announcement will be made on on Friday (6 November 2015).

Burke, Oxford, Henry. We just did not need Obgonna…Burke did a v creditable job in the Prem last season. Oxford played out of position in midfield; we haven’t seen how he would do at centre half yet….but I would like to see him or Burke given a chance…Henry seems to be progressing…VERY well done, Burke!
