Burnley defender Ste[hen Ward has sent a warning to the Clarets fans the Hammers can cause the Lncastrians big problems at the London Stadium tomorrow (Sat).
The Republic of Ireland international said of our recent results. “It probably makes it more difficult, they’re going to want to put on a performance, especially in front of their own fans, and they’ll want to get back to winning ways,”
“They’re going to be up for it, they’ve had a couple of bad results but they’re still fighting for their lives.
“They will look at Burnley at home and think it’s one they want to win and will push hard on so we’ll have to be ready for that.
“They’ve got some really good players who can hurt you so we’ll have to put on a performance, because we know we’ll need to do that.”
The referee is Lee Mason ? He’s from Lancashire , Burnley are from Lancashire??? Lets hope He’s fair and not prejudiced. Only he’s already sent one of our players off this Season? Call me funny but I think referees have issues wiith us political or not, about how west ham got to play at the London Stadium ??? If only they (referees) knew about how most of the hammers supporters feel about the stadium as a football stadium????
