Burnley team news

Burnley boss Sean Dyche is in a similar position to Sam Allardyce as he welcomes back previously injured players to his squad for tomorrow’s game.

Perhaps the most important could prove striker Danny Ings together with David Jones and Nathaniel Chalobah, while Kieran Trippier looks to have shaken off the ankle injury.

But Dean Marney (hamstring) and Steven Reid (groin) are expected to remain on the sidelines, while Michael Keane (hamstring) remains a doubt and Matt Taylor needs an operation on his Achilles.

Dyche, hopes that the likes of Ings and Jones will boost the team as they seek their first win of the season.

He said: “We hope it makes us stronger. Ingsy is back in definite contention. He’s had a good week with us.

“Tripps has had a good couple of days this week and comes back into contention Dean Marney is touch and go. Maybe this one is too quick for him.”
