Matt Jarvis’ West Ham race is run after a career that faded and died with just 13 appearances last season.
He’s now a Norwich City player on a four year deal and ClaretandHugh forum members have given their view on his departure.
Here are the thoughts from a few of them
Best solution for both parties, he never lived up to the hype & £10m+ price tag. no point keeping him on our books if he will never play, take the financial hit and move on. Not sure what the loan deal with Norwich included but this will free up some cash for transfer window.
He made 78 appearances in 3 seasons. Producing the most PL crosses in his first season. Slav gave him a go, also didn’t fancy him, hence he’s going and good luck to him.
Good news for the player and West Ham, he didn’t really get a chance under BFS and his career stalled and he became a peripheral figure – yet another player who got screwed up by BFS. A good chance to revive his career at Norwich – good luck to him!
Take it and move on,he picks up injuries all the time now and although we have lost money
Hippo never got the best out of him and now his race has run. Go with our blessing and all the best for the future.
Sorry it didn’t work out for Matt. Good luck to him always put in the effort but rarely end product to go with it!!
