Byram looks for rapid return

|
ByramSam Byram is desperate to play a part in what he admits is a “difficult run in.”
The young defender has been out of action with suspension, injury and being cup tied admitting  “This injury which has dragged out longer than I’d have liked, it has been a long and annoying time.

“I think I’m at the end of the recovery now so hopefully I’ll be back joining in training soon and will get back to doing what I enjoy.

“I’m feeling positive [ahead of the final run-in]. I think we’ve done well in the run up of games, and we’ve been unlucky with some results but the performances have been up there.

“We haven’t got an easy run so it will be tough but the lads are in a good place and I think we’re going to have a good end to the season.”

I think Slav might start with JOB at right back on Saturday and swap him for Tonks at half time to give him proper minutes ahead of the QF replay – can’t afford the Ant at right back against the Gooners or Man Utd.

The only problem is he is cup tied and we need Tomo to get some playing time as we could see last week Antonio is not an answer full time at right back,
I think he can be as good as Cressie but needs playing time
Yes John I know you will disagree
