  1. This guy could be great! Brazilian friend of mine said he was something special with great feet; if a little rough around the edges. Looking forward to him playing in the Claret and Blue. With regards to the work permit, I thought he has Italian heritage which got him a passport?

  2. First piece in the jigsaw sorted?

  3. Im pleased we got this one over the line.He looks good.Mind he has only announced he will he joining us in the last few hours & the wetlands are on to it lmao.Doom spreading out about third parties owning him & what’s the point of getting him with no option to buy.Ffs it could only happen on there!

  4. Can you confirm Hugh has he got a passport because he does not seem to think so if he wants a work permit ( his words )
He might have good feet but he looks good in the air as well which is a upgrade on AC,

  5. He got an Italian passport in early 2015 bubs.I was reading about it earlier. At the time he was being linked to a move to Chelski quite strongly.

  6. Glad to hear someone enthusiastic about coming fingers crossed we are s great match, welcome to the club Johnathon!

  7. Add Ahew and Gomez and we have three strikers all capable of knocking in 15/20 goals for about the price of one “top striker” who could ‘trip over his shoelaces and be out for six months and in my book we are far better off than suddenly finding ourselves with another long term sick note and no decent back ups

  8. Cheers Antman I had read it as well but could not understand why he thinks he needs a work permit,
Had heard last week we were going in for a permit but it was no necessary any more,
Would nice to see canchaz Slav being able to pick from Calleri,Ayew and Gomez plus Fletcher and Martinez to call on,
Wonder if Newcastle would be interested in a swap for Parez because if Barca are interested in him he must be a reasonable player,

  9. I would be happy to see an older experienced head like Gomez to come in amongst the younger signings.I have read that he is too similar to Carroll but I dont see that as an issue, its not like they will play together is it. Carroll will be in the physios room again within half a dozen games lol
I think maybe bubs mate it is a case of Calleri not understanding the laws, perhaps, only a guess.
