Marshall on brink of move

Marshall was given a big write up by manager David Moyes recently declaring him to be a player on his way through fast and one who loves football and a genuine prospect.

At this stage of his career it gets no bigger than a move to a club currently at the heart of the Championship play off places in fifth place.

Clearly this is a young man who has caught the eye of various club and for the Baggies to snap him up as part of their promotion hopes tells us everything we need to know about the young man.

Already an international player for the Northern Ireland national team, the Hammers now obviously feel his career can be advanced quicker by the best move they can find on a loan basis.

That doesn’t work for all youngsters but it seems to be the case with the 19 year old and we will all be keeping a careful eye on his and Albion’s progress from here should Ex’s prediction be correct which they usually are.

He explained quite simply that he believed the club  were keen for the move to happen in order to develop Callum’s career.
