CandH exclusive: Hammers crisis looms for Saints clash

David Moyes is facing new defensive issues as the Hammers prepare for the game against Southampton on Sunday evening.

Indeed, right now he has something of a mini crisis on his hands with three central defenders injured and battling to recover in time for the game.

Kurt Zouma is unlikely to make the game as he – along with Michail Antonio of course is – suffering a high temperature and flu symptoms.

That of course may gave accounted for some form loss over the last couple of games and it now remains to be seen whether he can shake off the problem.

The situation is exacerbated by a dead leg suffered by Craig Dawson during the game against Anderlecht with insiders unsure if he can shake off the injury for Saints.

Angelo Ogbonna appears to also have a problem and ClaretandHugh was told by a key insider: “As things stand, we have no fit central defenders. Let’s hope they recover for Sunday
