CandH Exclusive: Hammers injury update after Norwich

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

Said Benrahma is facing a scan tomorrow (Monday) after hobbling off in the second half of today’s game at Carrow Road.

Benny had scored a couple of morale-boosting goals as the Hammers eased their way past a very poor Canaries side before he was involved in a difficult challenge in the second half.

He looked in poor shape as he left the pitch but the medical team have decided that they will see how he feels in the morning although a scan is usually inevitable in these circumstances.

We were told exclusively: “Three of them suffered knocks but as things stand only Said is likely  to l face a scan in the morning. It was good to see him produce his form and fingers crossed he’ll be okay for Manchester City next weekend.”

David Moyes added after the game that Mickey Antonio had received a bit of a knock on his hip. and Craig Dawson took one in the calf whilst Benny’s “could have been his ankle”

He added: “Hopefully they’ll all be okay. I don’t think they looked that serious.”
