Reports in Italy that on=loan Hammer Nikola Vlasic may not be joining Torino on a permanent deal at the end of the season are false.

The news was based on a story from Calciopolis who claim that the Serie A club believe the fee may be a little high, while there is also said to be interest from AC Milan.

They claim the San Siro club are also hoping to receive a discount from the Irons, though, as they also believe that £19m is too steep.

However, according to a key ClaretandHugh source the story and the fee being quoted are both incorrect and were quick to point out the truth.

He said: “Once again it appears to be a case of news sources making up stories as there is no truth in a figure of £19 million.

The reality is that a figure of £13 million euros has been agreed between the clubs”
