CandH Exclusive: Irons make their Rice fee position clear

CandH Exclusive by Hughie Southon

West Ham are refusing to put a price tag on Declan Rice as his summer move draws near!

It is now well known the Hammers skipper will be on his way with Arsenal and Chelsea allegedly to the forefront of the chase.

And should they both come in and produce a tug of war for his signature then the Hammers will be seeing his price rise.

However, it could fall short of the £100 million plus mentioned by manager David Moyes and the Irons are reluctant to confirm of the  sort of price they will be looking for.

Figures as low as the mid seventies have been quoted in places this season but the price according the Claret and Hugh’s highly placed sources it will depend very largely on Declan’s form over the relegation run in.

Our top source said: “Everybody knows what a player he is – that was seen against Italy last night but it really will depend on his form for the rest of the season.”
