CandH Exclusive: Travel issues hinder Daws recovery

Craig Dawson looks set to be missing from the side which meets Bournemouth at the London Stadium on Monday evening,

Claret and Hugh has learned that his recovery from injury is still a slow process and not helped by his family problems in Manchester.

Daws has a swelling on the dead leg he suffered in the game against Anderlecht and the problem is being exacerbated by him having to make car journeys north,

The situation is also suggests that his is very unlikely to sign a new deal at the club despite the Hammers being enthusiastic to offer him a new deal.

The 32-year-old was lined up to join Wolves in January such were the problems he was experiencing via his family issues.

And he is now unable to rest his injury to the extent he would like to given that he needs to be travelling north on a regular basis.
