News broke yesterday that Maximilian Hahn from Werder Bremen will be arriving as a coordinator in scouting and data analysis  after previous spells with Darmstadt and Dresden.

He was entirely Steidten’s pick and, as a top expert, was recommended by him to the board who immediately supported his request that he should be brought into the club. However it turns out that is only a small part of the behind the scenes revolution going on at our club under Steidten who is turning out to be an extraordinary signing.

For our key source has revealed  EXCLUSIVELY TO CLARET AND HUGH  that several other experts in various areas recommended by him have been appointed following his recommendations.

He said: “We ae signing staff to help Tim all the time. We have signed a few that’s he’s picked.”

With the club looking to become regulars in Europe the board has clearly decided to move the club to an entirely different level and are trusting Steidten to take us there. It could also mean that as quality players arrive and take to club to success they will be happy to remain a club that is joining the top Premier League outfits.

It seems now that Steidten has  become very much David Sullivan’s No 2 at West Ham and it is also possible that the technical director’s younger brother and former player Moritz could also become a member of the scouting team. Meanwhile we understand that Rob Newman – David Moyes’s pick to become Head of Scouting will remain at the club to work alongside them.
