West Ham fans have voted by a near landslide for Diafra Sakho to stay at the club.

Doubts over the striker’s future have been around for weeks now but in a ClaretandHugh poll, the Irons faithful have made their view clear – he has to stay.

With over 1100 having voted 68 per cent of voters have claimed he must remain at the club with 826 casting their vote in his favour.

A total of 279 (23.58) per cent would prefer to see him gone and the remainder registered ‘Don’t know’ votes.

It’s an overwhelming result in favour of the player despite his well known injury problems and issues off the pitch which some believe will affect his position.

There has been talk of possible moves to either Sunderland or West Brom whlst the player’s agent claims he wants to meet the manager to discuss his future at the club.

But the fans appear to have no doubt about where his future lies – West Ham United.

  1. Bad buisness letting sakho go !!
IMO he hasn’t shown his best because of injury’s, I feel he will deliver if injury free , unfortunately his work rate and enthusiasm play a part in his injury which nobody has control of . Its down to luck in the end !!
I hope he stays ! I don’t see a money grabber putting in the shift this man gives ! Add one more striker , a right back and a class centre half plus the m/f targets of Bilic and sell Valencia who IMHO can’t hack it in the prem , its to physical for the lad as he is not physically built . He spends more time on his bum , my heart loves him but the brain say’s let him move on. .

  2. I personally want him to stay. 3 times better than Wilson who I keep hearing we want for stupid money cos he scored against us which I might had we gave him the goals. Also like the thought of Mario Gomes. Good player and lots of experience.

  3. We need to sit down with him and talk, when he is on song he fits our club and playing format 100%,
But it his attitude and ego that has caused a slide in his form,
I want him to stay but return to the player we first had,he needs to talk to Kouyate and get his attitude,
Maybe with Antonio the 3 of them need to team up in training as he used to be like them
