Cole believes he will soon get his chance but remains happy as the team settles among the Champions League hopefuls..
He rold the London Evening Standard: “It is a weird feeling.I am not playing as much as I want but I am a West Ham fan and I want to see us do well. It is about the team, so whether or not I am playing is not a problem.
“You cannot have bad eggs in the changing room. Everyone has their own way of dealing with disappointment and I am not one of those guys [who complains].
“What would happen if I went knocking on the gaffer’s door? He would probably try and knock me out! He explains everything to you but he does not want you doing that.
“I have been through it [not playing] before, and you have just got to be professional, wait your turn and make sure you are ready when the manager needs you.”
The tea lady could knock him out he’s such a wimp. Legend ? Of what ?get rid and save money.
What annoys me is that the club couldn’t agree a deal with him last summer and released him, it meant we turned down offers for maiega, other than that I think we should keep him, good squad player with a great attitude
cant believe people still think this guy is prem material , loyalty my arse , i’d sit on a bench for 25 grand a week
Cole may not be the best player in the world, or even at West Ham, but for me he is a Hammers legend. I wish more players were as professional and committed to the cause as he seems to be. Well done Carlton
Agreed. No where near the best player to turn out for WHU but, without a doubt, one of my all-time favorites. He does nothing but give everything he has for the team. Watch him on the bench after any of the other strikers have scored and no one is happier about it than him. I hope he gets an extension.
