Carlton lets the cat out of the bag

|

Former Hammer Carlton Cole has let the cat out of the bag by revealing Chris Scull, rapper Guvna B and himself presented the 2020/2021  West Ham player awards at Rush Green training ground yesterday.  The photo on social media showed Manuel Lanzini picking up an award, most likely for the goal of the season against Spurs last season.

It is likely that favourite Tomas Soucek picked up Hammer of the year on the basis that Declan Rice is yet to return from his holiday in Ibiza and Tomas returned to Rush Green with Vladimir Coufal and Yarmolenko the day before the player awards were made.

West Ham had hoped to have a gala dinner for sponsors and supporters in July but COVID restrictions made that too difficult to arrange.

The categories, shortlists and winners will be revealed soon on official West Ham channels including the Hammers YouTube channel according to Carlton.

    Wrong … again.

Think it’s time to give up trying to be a journalist Sean, it’s really not for you.

Dec returned more than a day ago from his holiday.
