Carroll has a new groin worry

Wrong chocolate

Andy Carroll was withdrawn from the Arsenal game after complaining to the medical staff that he could feel his old groin injury again during the Arsenal match.

The injury ravaged striker made way for fit again Diaf ra Sakho but the new scare will no doubt start a fresh round of worry and no doubt anger from the fans.

Explaining the substitutions of Carroll and Michail Antonio after the game Slaven Bilic said: “Andy Carroll said at half time he felt his groin. The medical department sad he was OK but I decided that if it still was like that, I would change him after 60 minutes and I did that.”

That sadly was much the same as before he returned when the medics could not find a problem but AC was concerned that there was an issue.

On Antonio Bilic said: “His hammy (hamstring)  is really good but around lunchtime, he started to vomit. He didn’t feel well and then in the first half he was good, but the time to recover was long.

“That’s why we decided to change him, to save him for Saturday, because he was no good after half an hour. It was not an injury that he will have to miss a few weeks for.”

  1. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  2. He gives me a pain!

  3. Antonio and Sakho are our big concerns.
Fernanades could be more effective than a ‘crocked up’ AC (sadly)
    Must employ a 4-4-2
If possible, start with Sakho and Antonio up front, with Snodgrass, Lanzini i(central), Kouyate, and Noblei (central holding mid-fielder)
Arthur at left back, Sammy right back, and Collins and Nordveit as central backs.
Time for Adrian to start as GK

  4. Wonder if we can risk Nordveit? Might have to be Kouyate, but then somebody said he was limping…This time we have had a period when the bulk of the squad have been available, including AC, so can’t really use that as an excuse. But it would be typical if they start to drop like flies now.

  5. “Andy Carroll said at half time he felt his groin. The medical department sad he was OK ”

and how did the medics come to that conclusion ?…only the player knows if hes injured or not
this is a recurring injury, only cure will be surgery…dont believe me…wait and see !
