Carroll hopes rise

andy-carroll-goals-hat-trick-west-ham-arsenal-1460207136-800Hopes are rising that Andy Carroll will be fit to take his place leading the line against West Brom on Saturday.

AC is desperate to play his part and although he hasn’t trained this week word is that he is a real chance he will see some action in the home clash against Tony Pulis’ men.

We were told this morning that the groin niggle which has been irritating the big man is no worse and that as things stand there is every chance  he will be involved against the Baggies.

In percentage terms one insider claimed the striker had a 75 per cent chance of making it along with Cheik Kouyate and Aaron Cresswell who trained today.

Slaven Bilic revealed that AC would train for the first time on Friday and that a decision would then be made on his fitness.

The manager said: ““Kouyate and Cresswell will train on Thursday and we will see on Friday about Andy.

  1. With his record it is just not worth the risk. Better to rest him and let him have the upcoming break as well, to fully recover. If not, the next thing we are likely to hear is that he is out until the end of the season. China doll.

  2. Lol H&P,let me guess, its off with you to the tower of London if you even dare not speak about Nobes in glowing terms.I have always appreciated what he has done for the club but he is hardly in the walk on water catergory some have him in.He makes a 5 yard pass & some of them cream their pants 😇😀

  3. No opinions are allowed on Noble.Noble the untouchable. Its rather silly when you cant voice an opinion on him without it being seen as treachery or even dafter still jealousy!!

  4. You are right. When a player’s form becomes an issue it is fair to discuss it. I think most players dread it, but realise it. His time will come. I think his loyalty entitles him to something back. I have heard the giant slug Adrian Durham on Talksport sounding off about how Noble has only stayed because he could not have gone anywhere else. He could have easily jumped ship both times we went down. I just don’t like to hear him being booed- He is not world class but he has always done his best. The manager can deal with it when necessary & I doubt he needs to be booed to know when he is struggling.

  5. Half the problem is this silly new role like ray Wilkins running around our back 4 making silly 5 foot passes
Slowing down our move forwards until we have no option but to hoof it at AC,
Where’s the all action hard tackling little dinamo gone,
With back 4 players like Cressie,Kouyate,Oggy Fonte and Byram do we need that sort of player ?
Much better having a partner like Lanzini or Calleri up top and leave Obiang to clear up behind the forwards,
