Carroll/Lanzini fitness update

Andy Carroll will be back in the Hammers squad for the match against Stoke this evening.

The big fella is set to start on the bench but Manu Lanzini faces a morning fitness test before a decision is taken on his involvement.

The play maker has been back in training for a few days but the manager will make a decision only after he has been thoroughly checked over.

Carroll is now fully recovered from the hairline fracture in his foot and ready to perform in the last handful of games this season – INJURY PERMITTING!

Manager David Moyes will name his team nearer kick off but with Stoke expected to adopt a blood and thunder approach to a game they  dare not lose, it would be a surprise if he didn’t name as physical a team as he can field.

And that may see Mario on the bench with a chance of Chicharito being drafted alongside Arnautovic with Edi Fernandes being given a chance to atone for a less than average performance against Chelsea last Sunday.
