Carroll out until September

carrollAndy Carroll will play no part in the Premier League campaign in August according to Hammers Chairman David Gold  who said he is hopeful he will be ready for action in early September.

Gold tweeted “Andy Carroll is training hard and getting stronger. We are hopeful that he will be available early September. dg”

He has been out of action with a knee injury since the match against  Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium. He required surgery which has essentially rebuilt his knee.

Carroll is back in  full training but needs to work on his match fitness.

  1. What year???

  2. So bored of Carroll fitness reports.I tend to not even count him as a West Ham player anymore.Whats the point,he is never about, lol

  3. Andy who? Oh yea i think i remember him 😀

  4. History repeating itself, can remember being on here this time last year with Gold banging out almost identical reports on Carrolls progress. What a crock he has turned out to be.Feel sorry for the lad but for the club it is a nightmare scenario.

  5. ahah… Poor thing… I feel so sorry for him… Take your time little Andy, relax and enjoy your summer… we’ll see you again in September 2017… (FU*K YOU)

  6. So we start great after 5 or 6 games he comes back we mess our team up putting him back in and our season goes to hell,
I suppose when he comes back he has to have Nolan hold his hand,
Get him fit let him play a couple of half games around Xmas and flog him in the transfer window,

  7. Bubs calm down, remember we have had a changing of the guard since last season. We haven’t built a team around someone who isn’t there. Give trust in our leader never question him…… nah bollox to that, we were better without him last season anyway.

  8. September,…and then he has to get match fit. He’ll go out on loan. In the meantime, he can play on the retractable seating..

  9. Lol,wont it be a bit dangerous for him playing on retractable seating.Guess it could be ok if big bros Kev keeps an eye on him 😉
