Carroll warms up as Hammers return to training

andy-carroll-goals-hat-trick-west-ham-arsenal-1460207136-800Andy Carroll is  confidently predicted to be in the squad which meets Huddersfield Town on next Monday evening.

And that is causing alarm bells to ring in Yorkshire where one local paper made a lead story of his likely return this morning.

Carroll has now been missing for months with a recurring thigh injury but is back in training and we were told he is set for a place on the bench.

The Hammers have everything crossed that  Manu Lanzini will be fit to start after missing international duty with Argentine to ensure his fitness for the crucial Monday night game against The Terriers.

And Winston Reid should be ready to take his place at the heart of defence alongside either Angelo Ogbonna or The Ginger Pele.

The Hammers first team squad return to action at 2 pm this afternoon (Mon) after a full week of training last week which was followed by the weekend off.
