The probe into the player’s night out which allegedly ended at dawn for Andy Carroll and Darren Randolph is understood to have been headed up by the manager.
But a top club source told us this morning that whatever the outcome the decision will be backed at board level.
Carroll and Randolph were claimed to have been in The Market Porter pub 
after it opened at 6 am and at around noon at a Pizza Parour in Shoreditch after the Bilic-sanctioned players’ evening evening bonding session.!
However, ClaretandHugh understands that the manager will listen carefully to the duo’s version of events before coming to any conclusion on the matter.
There is unlikely to be any club statement but the boss is likely to cover the matter in his press conference ahead of the match against Crystal Palace a week on Sunday.
We were told by our source: “The club will abide by any decision which comes from the investigation.”
Feel little golden boy Carroll will never be punished, but I am most disappointed with Randolph I expected better of him.

I think it’s more that they took the p out of the manager by going on an all nighter and following dayer by the sounds of it, plus Carroll is supposed to be sorting out his injury so fuelling himself up with alcohol isn’t too smart. Let’s see what the manager comes up with anyway, fine them a couple of weeks wages each if they are guilty and make them do some menial tasks imho, the tasks would bother them more than the fine most likely.
Yeah make them clean the Dev Squads boots 😀

Storm in tea-cup . Some bloke took a photo on his mobile phone and decided to put it in public domain . He was so happy with himself to have seen the players he couldn’t contain himself and got carried away in his excitement . There is no evidence of drinking and the picture even shows AC sitting at a wooden table with no drinks or even a coffee . They were just relaxing and having an extended night out ; what’s so wrong with that ??. I wouldn’t think for a minute it has or effects training . A bit of a break from a heavy routine is hardly grounds for the OTT reaction caused by a smart arse with a mobile phone . Good gracious me . It should be seen for what it is and left alone . Let’s just drop and get on with things .
